Thanks for working with me to give me the knowledge and confidence to use the Dreamweaver software. Due to a change with our existing web design company I was given the job of learning Dreamweaver and taking over this role within our company.
Always one to accept a challenge it was suggested that I find a company to train me in using Dreamweaver. After searching the internet I found Helion who were based in Auckland and after talking to Nan I was happy that Helion would be able to tailor the one day course to suit my needs and also the needs of our company’s website.
There was so much to learn but I found that Nan covered all the relevant information for me to be able to understand the principles of HTML, web design, search engine basics and how websites work and then being able to relate this to our own website.
Since completing the Helion training I have been able to use Dreamweaver successfully with confidence and continue to learn something new every time so a big thank you to Helion.
I went into the Dreamweaver Training with no prior knowledge of web design and HTML was a whole different language to me. But with the training offered by Helion, I got the excitement like learning to read all over again. In such a short time I was able to absorb so much from the efficient training and the great resources provided by Helion. I find this newfound knowledge to be a great asset that everyone should harness.
In general, it was a fun interactive course that would keep the attention and motivates the individual to continue learning more about web design. The day went by so quickly but was not the slightest bit tedious.
The purpose of taking the course was for organizational objectives of keep our website updates and design changes in house. By designing the course to cater for my individual needs, we were able to go over all the necessary points to best utilize the time spent in the days training. The use of understanding websites has become universal where it will not only benefit companies, but can be used for personal purposes also. At the end of the day it was a case of Mission Accomplished and then some.
Thank you for working with our office to provide the current enrolled postgraduate students of the University with the necessary skills and tools required to help them with computer packages.
The feedback from our students was very positive highlighting the amazing achievements they were able to learn throughout the sessions provided by Nan.
I found it immensely gratifying to know that Helion Training was willing to provide further assistance where needed and also the flexibility to organise further more computer sessions at such short notice.

I just wanted to thank you for working with me to help develop our Frangipani Cottage website. (www.frangipani-cottage.co.nz) I have to say that I was initially a bit apprehensive about the thought of receiving training and website development assistance from such a highly qualified professional, but you certainly went out of your way to communicate what I needed to know without over-using the technical jargon.
My other concern was to ensure our website was completed quickly given that I had requested the minimum amount of training time possible with you, and your offer to complete the work we started and then help me to add some of the "finishing touches" was a tremendous relief and a very practical suggestion, so thanks for that as well.
